The title of this post is Aussie slang for “to be very excited”. It’s what my number 1 son said I should be doing (in the context of “if I were you I would be going off” etc – like the aforementioned imprisoned amphibian)!
Now I know you’ve probably had your fill of seeing my David Bowie quilt….
and you’re probably sick of hearing about the prizes won at the Brisbane Craft and Quilt Fair last week
and I know you probably think I’ll need a bigger hat soon but, guess what……….
this morning, at Queensland Quilters meeting, I received the Viewer’s Choice Award (thanks to Logans Patchwork Fabrics).
So I’m still doing a happy dance – and will be for some time….boom boom shake the room!
Kaye
Congratulations Kaye, well deserved, sends tingles up and down my spine!!!. Regards Christine Morrissey
A well deserved win Kaye. This quilt is a wonderful tribute to Bowie that you have created with great love and admiration to the man and his music.
Wow. That is just the icing on the cake. Well done, you’re a star.
Well done again!, how exciting!

Indeed – a very warm frog in a sock! Best wishes and well deserved. Lynette
So well deserved. All those ribbons you will have to make room to hang them up!!! Good on you Kaye.
Well done, we always knew you were a star, you deserve the accolades -clever clogs,
You can’t escape your fame. One of the judges was on tour with me here in NZ. The Keas put on a display for you. Well deserved from the comments I heard when I revisited it before I left the show. Back in warm Brisbane on Monday, and hope to wake up in time for Tuesday to do a jig with Suze. Ooroo, June
